Dear Mr. CEO,
Thank you for your attention over the last five weeks. I hope that you have found the information valuable and you have gained a better understanding of how and why you are a business. Over my short career as a professional player and now as a High School coach it is very clear to see that the game of baseball has changed and now become big business.
Coaches at the high school level that are active recruiters and certainly all college coaches treat youth baseball like a business, because it is. Money is the determining factor behind all that goes into baseball and it is imperative that you understand the business side of the game. Each coach only has a certain amount of money to use so make sure that you’re doing everything you can to get into their pocket.
So please, be smart on how you Market and Promote yourself, where you Invest your capital and most importantly understand your Vision (what are you selling and where you want to take your business). Use the information from the last five weeks as a guideline to help you through your new venture. Remember that all business’ are unique, so your business is different then mine, and all business’ take different roads to success. But the most successful business’ learn from others mistakes.
I wish you the best of luck and nothing but success in your new venture!
Sincerely,
Andy Schindling
P.S: Learn from my mistakes so you don’t make the same ones.
